The number of international students 

coming/returning to Australia continue to increase 

留学生赴（返）澳持续见长

Since the Australian government (conditionally) opened its international borders in December last year, the number of students studying in Australia has grown by tens of thousands than the same period in the previous year. The number of international students coming (returning) to Australia continued to grow after the Australian government announced opening international borders to international travellers and international students on 21 February this year. The growing trend is not only reflected in the tertiary education sector, but also in the school sector.

自去年12月澳大利亚政府有条件开放国际边境以来，在澳留学生数量已经比上一年同期增加了数以万人。今年2月21日澳国际边境全面开放以来，留学生赴（返）澳人数持续见长，这种趋势不仅体现在高等教育领域，中小学亦是如此。

According to International Education Services, Department for Education South Australia, some SA government schools’ ISEC program places have all been filled and some have limited places available for the second semester of 2022.

据南澳州教育部国际教育处有关人士透露，有些南澳州政府（公立）学校2022年下学期留给国际学生的学位或已满位、或已学位有限。

To better prepare prospective students who wish to come to study in South Australian government Schools, as well as to better serve our education agents, we are presenting below an update on school placement for international students for the second semester 2022 in SAGS. 

为便于有意向来南澳政府（公立）学校留学的学生和家长、以及留学中介更好地准备留学申请，我们将获得的有关南澳州政府（公立）学校2022年下学期学位情况在此呈献给各位。

Glenunga International High School校园

Due to the increase in the number of applications, Marryatville High School, Glenunga International High School and Adelaide High School have no places in their ISEC program for the second semester (July intake) this year. 

If a student’s language proficiency can meet the direct entry requirements, their application may be accepted at some schools, however enrolment will depend on the schools’ assessment. Some schools (including Glenunga International High School) cannot accept direct entry students due to their Capacity Management Plan.

由于申请人数的增加，Marryatville High School、Glenunga International High School和Adelaide High School三所学校今年下半学期（7月）语言班已暂无学位。如果语言达到入读主课的要求，可以提出申请，是否会被接受，学校将视具体情况而定。有些学校（包括Glenunga 国际高中）由于受在校生容量管理的限制2022年下学期直接入读主课亦无学位。

The following schools’ ISEC program for the second semester 2022 have limited places available, again you have to be quick if you are keen to apply. For direct entry, conditions apply as the above schools.

•Hamilton Secondary College

• Henley High School 

• Norwood International School （IB school）

•Parafield Gardens High School

• Unley High School (IB school) 

• Woodville High School

The following schools do not run ISEC program for second semester 2022. Students will be allocated to selected SA government schools for ISEC program before being accepted into their mainstream program.

下列学校如直接入读主课，要求同上，但下半年（7月）语言班暂不开设，学生需被安排有关学校完成语言学习，然后回到所申请的学校就读主课。
