案例难点

这位同学英语口语较差，大专毕业一年，目前无工作，申请美国社区大学，资金准备并不充足，一签因为过于紧张没能听清楚签证官的问题，而被拒签。

方案设计及具体实施

1、 针对成绩单九门不及格的“硬伤”，我们与东洛杉矶学院招生办协调，学校同意该生转15个大学学分，而且出具详细的学习计划，通过Study Plan 来表明真实的求学意图，从而打动签证官。

2、 针对学生资金准备不充足的情况，我们与学生家长充分沟通，最终准备了60万存款证明以及房产证和两间店铺的出租合同等财产证明材料。

3、 针对学生英语口语较差，我们设计了详尽的培训方案。在熟悉了签证问题内容的前提下，从纠正语音、练习发音到情景反应训练，经过了一段时间的培训之后，她基本上能够流利地回答出签证官的问题。

4、 在签证培训的后期，我们就签证过程中的注意事项，如着装和礼仪等进行了一一说明，并加强模拟培训的力度，展示真实的场景，确保学生提前感受到签证的氛围。

顾问总结及感言

然而，再完美的方案也不能保证万无一失，特别是针对语言基础较差的同学，临场的反应能力的训练往往比通过背记签证问题更加有效。一签被拒之后，我们总结了之前的失误：即忽视了学生的心理适应性训练。模拟过程中的对答并不能保证学生在真实的场景中也能保持良好的心态。所以，在接下来准备二签的两周培训过程中，我们并没有进行高强度的训练，培训时间也尽量控制在半小时之内，但每次总是给予学生足够的鼓励，让其能够自然地表达自己的思想，而不是去死记硬背签经问题。

在二签的过程中，学生摆脱了紧张的心情，自信大方地表达了自己的求学目的，尽管英文较差，但把握住了机会，拿到签证！（以下记录了她的签证经验）

VO: What is your highest education qualification?

Student: (再次不明白) I beg your pardon?

VO: Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree?

Student: No, I just got a college diploma.

VO: All right. Why choose a community college?

Student: Because I think community college has small classes, I can learn more from my teachers. What’s more, I can transfer to a good university.

VO. What is your transfer plan?

Student: CSU—LA. This is the study plan.

VO: How do you know this school?

Student: I had an interview with XX, the dean of International student office of this college. XX said I was a good student, though my English is poor.

VO: Why choose this major?

Student: I will help my father’s business in the future; business management is useful for me.

VO: What are your parents’ jobs?

Student: My father is a businessman, he has a factory…Do you want to see my father’s business license?

VO: (签证官接过营业执照仔细端详) How much does your father make a year?

Student: About 200,000 RMB a year.
